While the gas markets in both jurisdictions are fully liberalised, the current retail market structures and arrangements in Northern Ireland and Ireland are somewhat different.
This part of the retail markets workstream will examine the options for harmonising the principle retail arrangements in both markets such as supporting network IT systems, metering and data collection, and governance arrangements such as licence and legislative requirements and industry forums.
