Annual Capacity Payment Sum 2009
Following receipt and consideration of responses to the ‘Fixed Costs of a Best New Entrant Peaking Plant for 2009’ Consultation of 4 July, the SEM Committee has finalised the Annual Capacity Payment Sum for 2009. A full Decision Paper will follow shortly.
Letter from MMU to NIE (PPB) regarding COD
The MMU, on behalf of the SEM Committee sent the following letter to NIE Energy (PPB) in relation to bids submitted on behalf of Ballylumford.
Uplift Paramaters in the Trading and Settlement Code for the Year 2009
On 1 September 2008, the SEM Committee published a decision paper on the values for the Uplift Parameters in the Trading and Settlement Code to apply for 2009. Following consultation, the SEM Committee has determined that the same values as were used in 2007 and 2008 for the Uplift parameters should be used in the year beginning 1st January 2009.
Price Cap and Price Floor in the Trading and Settlement Code
On 1 September 2008, the SEM Committee published a decision paper on the values for the market price cap (PCAP) and the market price floor (PFLOOR) in the Trading and Settlement Code to apply for 2009. Following consultation, the SEM Committee has determined that the same values as were used in 2007 and 2008 for PCAP and PFLOOR should be used in the year beginning 1st January 2009.
