SONI Licence Amendment Consultation
On 27th March 2008 the Regulatory Authorities published a consultation paper proposing two new licence conditions to apply to SONI as System Operator. These proposed modifications will be made with the consent of the Department of Trade, Enterprise and Investment (DETI) pursuant to the Authority's powers under Article 3 of the Electricity (Single Wholesale Market) (Northern Ireland) Order 2007.
Decision Paper: Bidding the Opportunity Cost of Carbon Allowances
On 27th March the SEM Committee published a decision on Bidding the Opportunity Cost of Carbon Allowances in the SEM. The Decision follows on from a Consultation Paper published in February. The responses to the consultation are also published.
Transmission Connection Charging in the SEM
On 14th March 2008 the Regulatory Authorities on behalf of the SEM Committee published a Decision Paper on Transmission Connection Charging in the SEM. This follows on from the consultation in December 2007. The Decision Paper incorporates responses to the consultation and approves the finalised SONI and EirGrid Transmission Connection Charging Statements for the SEM
