Updated Decision Paper

The RAs are today (19th April 2012) publishing a slightly updated version of the decision paper on Directed Contracts (DCs) published on the 16th April 2012 (SEM12-019). There are no policy changes from the previous paper, but some of the DC auction dates and references have been changed slightly following feedback - please see the paper below:

Following consultation, the RAs have today, 16th April 2012 published a Decision paper on the approach for the offering of Directed Contracts (DCs) from Q4 2012. Unlike previous years a quarterly rolling approach will be applied.

Consultation Paper

The RA's have today, 8th February 2012 published a short consultation paper providing an option for the offering of Directed Contracts (DCs) for the forthcoming contract year. Two scenarios are presented in the paper - DCs could be offered either annually (only) in Q2 of this year, as has been the case to date, or they could also be offered quarterly on a rolling basis.

The RAs invite interested parties to submit comments to the paper, particularly on which DC option should be adopted, by 17:00 on Friday 9th March 2012.
