Information Note

The SEM Committee is today publishing an information note which summarises the Final Figures for the Annual Capacity Payment Sum, the Best New Entrant Peaking Price and the Capacity Requirement resulting from the 28th May 2010 Consultation on the same (SEM-10-034). A Full Decision Paper explaining the SEM Committees Decisions for the ACPS in 2011 will be published shortly.

Consultation

In order to aid the consultation process the Regulatory Authorities have published the inputs that were used for determining the Capacity Requirement for the 2011 Consultation Paper. This paper summarises the main input used and includes the data sheets used in the calculation as a series of appendices. Inputs into the Capacity Requirement for 2011 will be revised with the TSO's and any changes to the inputs will be published in the Appendix of the 2011 Decision Paper.

Today, 28 May 2010 the Regulatory Authorities published a Consultation Paper on Fixed Cost of a Best New Entrant Peaking Plant & Capacity Requirement for the Calender Year 2011.
